Modern Technology in a Spacious Setting

The creation of the Santa Cruz County Provisional Community College District (SCCPCCD), referred to as the Santa Cruz Center, grew out of the need for higher education opportunities in our border county and the desire of residents and community leaders to have access to local post-secondary programs. Postsecondary education began in Santa Cruz County in 1970. We’ve come a long way since then, with the Santa Cruz County Provisional Community College District moving to its current campus at the Santa Cruz Center in 2013.

Today, the campus facilities at the Santa Cruz Center include partner offices, conference rooms, classrooms, computer, nursing, and science labs, a student union, and several lounge areas — all designed to support student success and community growth.

A Campus That Inspires Learning

The campus facilities at the Santa Cruz Center accelerate student learning with up-to-date technology in a modern setting. Classrooms are spacious and bright, providing a positive atmosphere for learning and collaborating on projects.

Students have access to five computer labs with over 100 computers, as well as interactive television classrooms that allow them to take classes alongside peers and instructors. Free printing services are also available.

The student union features both indoor and outdoor environments filled with natural sunlight. TVs, books, games, couches, and tables create spaces where students can study, play, and socialize with peers.

Additionally, a second indoor lounge provides a private setting for out-of-classroom activities and student engagement.
