A Culture Of Inclusion.
The Santa Cruz Center is a place where people from all walks of life and all ages come together to experience lifelong learning and higher education opportunities. You’ll find our friendly Santa Cruz Center staff as well as staff members from partner organizations are always eager to help you find what you need.
Partner organizations have worked at the Center for many years and know their way around our facility. Students from Santa Cruz County and from Mexico often arrive early and stay all day to take classes, study and hang out with friends in our comfortable computer rooms and student union. Students and guests tell us that they find the Santa Cruz Center to be a comfortable and welcoming space.
Changing art exhibits at the Center reflect the diversity of our binational region. Individuals from various backgrounds are always welcomed, respected, and encouraged to express their cultural identities, actively celebrating diverse holidays and traditions. Our educational partners, instructors, students and academic offerings demonstrate a genuine interest in learning about different perspectives and experiences.
The Santa Cruz Center is a diverse environment. English and Spanish are both spoken here interchangeably. Everyone is committed to fostering inclusion and a sense of belonging.
